What To Expect During A Fresh 48 Session?
A Fresh 48 captures your baby’s very first hours—the tiny details, first snuggles, and the wonder of meeting them face to face.
These relaxed, documentary-style sessions focus on real moments: siblings’ first hellos, grandparents’ visits, or simply you soaking in those quiet cuddles.
Sessions take place within 24–48 hours after birth, in your hospital room, birth center, or home—wherever your story begins.
Are All Sydney Hospitals Eligible?
Short answer: no. While I can work with most, some Sydney hospitals simply don’t have the layout or natural light that makes a Fresh 48 possible Session.
As a general rule, if you’re in a private hospital—or anywhere you have a private room with a window—we’re good to go. Recently renovated public hospitals are usually ok. If unsure, just ask me.

That said, I can travel across Sydney. A $70 travel fee applies for locations outside of the Hawkesbury, Hornsby Shire, Hills Shire, Blacktown Council or Paramatta City District.
What Is The Best Time To Book?
The best time to book your Fresh 48 is before the end of your second trimester. This ensures I’m prepared and on-call near your due date, ready to capture those first precious hours.
