Can the whole family be photographed?

Absolutely. These are Christmas family photoshoots, not just children's sessions. Parents are encouraged to be in the photographs, and we'll aim for a mixture of family, sibling and individual portraits within your session time

Can I bring grandparents?

These sessions are designed primarily for your immediate family.

If you'd like to include grandparents or extended family, please contact me before booking so I can make sure a mini session will be suitable.

Up to 6 people should fit comfortably within the standard set up.

Question 3

Is the studio sensory friendly?

My private Castle Hill studio offers a calmer alternative to busy shopping-centre Christmas photos. There are no crowds, queues or flashing studio lights, and I'm happy to accommodate individual sensory needs wherever possible.

The set is designed to be child friendly, with ability for kids to move around and different active seating/posing options.

Question 4

What if my child is shy?

That's completely fine. I won't expect them to perform for the camera straight away. They can stay close to you, explore the set and warm up at their own pace.

The session lasts 15 minutes. I encourage you to arrive a bit early and get kids acclimatized in the foyer before the session.

What happens if we're late?

As Christmas Minis run back-to-back, sessions unfortunately can't be extended for late arrivals. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and get everyone ready before your scheduled session.

There is a yummy family friendly cafe a few doors down (Coffee Traders). You are welcome to arrive early and grab a refreshment there.

What if my child is sick on the day?

Please don't bring an unwell child into the studio. Contact me as soon as possible and I'll let you know what alternative options are available, subject to the Christmas Mini schedule.

When will we receive our photos?

Accepted Answer

Your proof gallery will be sent after your session so you can select your favourites within 2 weeks of your session.

Selecting images after your session

Accepted Answer

You'll receive a private online gallery where you can choose your 10 favourite photographs included with your Christmas Mini.And if choosing only ten proves impossible, don't worry.You'll have the option to purchase additional photographs or upgrade to your full gallery for a special seasonal price of just $125 (normally $250). Every selected photograph is individually professionally retouched in the warm, timeless Moments in Bloom style.

What should we wear?

You don't need to buy an entirely new wardrobe for your Christmas photos.Creams, warm neutrals, earthy tones, deep greens and traditional Christmas reds all work beautifully with this year's set.Once you've booked, you'll receive guidance to help coordinate your family's outfits without everyone needing to match.You'll also have complimentary access to the Moments in Bloom client wardrobe, with a curated collection of dresses and outfits available for mums, babies and children.Wardrobe pieces are available on a first-reservation basis, so I recommend reserving your favourites once your session is confirmed.

Can we use the client wardrobe?

Absolutely. Christmas Mini clients have complimentary access to my client wardrobe for mums, babies and children. Pieces are available on a first-reservation basis, so I recommend reserving your favourites ahead of time.If you'll be changing into a client wardrobe piece, please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session to allow plenty of time to get dressed and ready. This is separate from your 15-minute photography time, so you won't lose any of your session getting changed.

Is the studio accessible?

There is parking directly out the front of the studio, making arrival and unloading little ones easy. Please note that the studio is accessed via stairs and does not have step-free access. If you have any accessibility concerns, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether the space will be suitable for you.
